Maureen Gilling
This gallery shows the work of clock maker and designer Maureen Gilling.
Maureen gained a BA in furniture design at Kingston Polytechnic and her work has been shown at the V&A ,the Royal College of Art and the Barbican.
She has worked with Ron Arad in Covent Garden and her one-off textile designs for the furniture sold to Joseph,Aram Design and Karl Lagerfield.
From here she went on to do an MA in textile design at the Royal College.
Now she produces designs and items ranging from silk scarves and hand-printed cards to childrens' furniture. The clocks on show in the Vision Gallery are Arts and Crafts movement inspired.
